What kind of info. Can I find on a proxy statement? Information that a company provides to shareholders so that they can make decisions, includes information on directors salaries, bonuses and option plans for directors, any declarations made by company management. ON a 8-K: Current reports, such as acquisitions, bankruptcy, resignations on directors, or change in fiscal year.ON a 10-K: Comprehensive summary of a company's performance. It includes things such as company history, organizational structure, equity, holdings, earnings per share. Pension Plan: Agreement with employer to provide pension benefits involving 3 entities (employer, employee, pension fund). Pension Fund Assets: Account administered by trustee, independent of employer, entrusted with responsibility of receiving contributions, investing them in a proper manner and disbursing pension benefits to employees. Vesting: specifies employees right to pension benefits regardless of whether employee remains with the company or not; usually conferred after employee serves some minimum period with the employer.
