For the Legalization of Marijuana
Throughout time there has been much debate on whether or not marijuana should be legalized. People, who believe marijuana should be legalized, say that marijuana is a helpful "herb". They support this by pointing out how it has helped cancer patients calm down their pain. They say that legalizing marijuana will help stop the high rate of drug dealers in the world, and close the "gateway" to other drugs. People against the legalization of marijuana say that it opens the "gate" for other drugs to invade the United States. They also fear that there will be a high rate in accidents, due to the intoxication of driving under the influence. This is a bit hypocritical, because alcohol impairs judgment as well. On that note, I believe marijuana should be legalized.
