hahaLegend Group Limited is the largest IT corporation in the PRC. Its own brand PC has been the countrys best-selling PC since 1997 and had a market share exceeds 30% in 2003 according to International Data Corporation. Legend is also the number one PC brand in the Asia Pacific market with a market share of 15.4%. Beside manufacturing and sale of PCs, Legend manufactures handheld devices, mobile handsets, and motherboard and provides IT consulting services (Figure 1). Legend Groups turnover breakdown by business segment in 2003 is shown at Figure 2. Established in 1984,Legend has listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 1994 and is a constituent stock of the Hang Seng Index.
