by European Settlement.
1.1 European Settlement
European settlement on the Gold Coast began in the mid eighteen
hundreds. Starting with the many arrivals of timber getters. Many
Europeans decided to settle on the Gold Coast. The Gold Coasts
commercial development soon moved onto establishing cotton and
sugar. European settlement came to the Gold Coast after Aboriginal
