Chivalry plays a big part in medieval knights society. This idea follows in the Morte d'Arthur story. King Arthur shows chivalry in many different ways during the story. He sticks to his beliefs and does what the code of chivalry tells every knight he must do. Some of the areas from the code of chivalry are defense, courage, and faith. By using the code of chivalry Arthur has been able to solve a crisis and help keep the society together.
Seek always to defend your nation, your family, and those to whom you believe worthy of loyalty. Arthur uses this defense area of the code in the story when Mordred attacks his kingdom trying to take it from him. He makes all his knights fight while he also fights with them in defense of the kingdom. Arthur puts up a final defense to his kingdom when he kills Mordred...
