Vivian in Pretty Woman
In the movie Pretty Woman, Julia Roberts' character has many problems with her etiquette and her appearance. In Pretty Woman, it begins with showing how Vivian's (Julia Roberts) clothing is not appropriate for the eloquent places Edward takes her to. In one of the first few scenes, Edward brings her in the hotel for the night, and has her wear his raincoat to cover her outfit. This is so people won't stare at them, but they still do. She is wearing, according to the stage directions, "tiny shorts, a tight tube top, thigh high boots." At breakfast the following morning, Edward orders room service, and Vivian sits on the table and begins to talk with her mouth full. Edward makes the remark of, "There are four other chairs here." This behavior is not appropriate to Edward. That same day, Vivian goes out to buy a dress for the evening. She decides to go on Rodeo Drive for the most expensive things, but it turns out to be a mistake...
