Ecstasy
Drugs are overpopulating our world anywhere we go in all different shapes, sizes and forms. Ecstasy is one well-known drug, which is a hallucinogen and a stimulant that contains mostly methylenedioxymethamphetamine, or MDMA for short. This is one deadly drug that effects everyone each time they try it and we need to inform these users whom are mostly teens, the long and short term consequences of this stimulant.
Ecstasy is an illegal and sometimes fatal drug that, for the most part, contains MDMA which is normally sold as a tablet or capsule. Ecstasy also has other "street" names like 'E,' 'XTC,' and 'pills'. "Pure" E commonly has symptoms of hyperactivity and addiction which can lead to hyperthermia, dehydration, hypertension and sometimes even heart and kidney failure. After the Ecstasy has been taken, the stimulant generally reaches its peak after about an hour and the drug lasts between a range of three to six hours depending on the dosage. A normal dosage ranges from 60 to 120 mg.
