Reflection On My Portfolio
The portfolio presented here in
front in front of you today , is mainly
a reflection on my work and experience in Mr.
Sampson's English 104 class. This
portfolio consists of two revised essays of my
choice from the 4 that were assigned,
Essay #1 "Exemplification" and Essay #2 "Narrative
Story" were my two choices.
My first revised essay in my
portfolio is essay #1 "Exemplification", in
which I titled "Why I decided to take English
104". This focus of this essay is on
my reasons for taking the course, role my
placement test had , and the role my past
104 experience the semester before. I chose this
essay because, I finally as able to express how
I really felt about taking the course and what I
believed the very causes were for me taking this
course. Which was fact that I failed to exceed
English 104 my first time around, and my
insufficient test placement test scores.
My next induction into my portfolio
is Essay #2 a "Narrative Story". Which I was able
to tell a story of a dangerous situation that
occurred in my life, when I became a victim of
drowning. I enjoyed writing this essay, for the
fact that I was actually putting one of the
most dramatic incidents of my life in the form
of a story...
