Before I start I would like to thank God for all he has done and for giving me another day to live. It is an honor to be speaking before all of you at this time. I have chosen to speak about the power of a nation that prays. I am not here to justify which church is the true church or anything like that, but when we all come together and we begin to turn to God in prayer we will begin to see American Samoa prosper. I will elaborate on just a few examples of what prayer can do to a nation.
A long time ago, when the missionaries first came to American Samoa, our island was unorganized and didn't really have any rules and regulations. Everything was run by a so called god by the name of Tagaloa. When the missionaries arrived here they began to do something about the island. The missionaries started to teach the people about Jesus and how he died for our sins. Then they began to teach the people how to pray...
