Ambition can be defined as an eager or strong desire to achieve something such as fame or power. Though ambition can be a really good thing there is such thing as too much ambition. This can be reflected on how Napoleon Bonaparte controlled France. Napoleon’s control benefited the people in France in that he established the Napoleonic Code which promoted equality among people and secondary schools which are called Lycees. Napoleon having too much ambition can be seen in how he sought to control power by conquering as many countries as he can. He practiced nepotism in appointing his family in high government positions.
