My name is Monika Olsson and I come from Sweden. I am studying makroekonomics at Sodertorns Hogskola in Stockholm.
Experience:
I have been visiting Poland regular since I was little because my mother is from Poland. At home in Sweden I live more like a polish than a swedish person. I am used to the polish culture and people and that is why its hard to talk about my experience when I first visit Poland.
One thing that I have always thought is that people are warmer here than in Sweden. Familys take more care of eachother than at home. In Sweden parents whant there children to move out as soon as possible but in Poland parents whant there children to stay until they get married.
Another thing is that in Poland when people talk to eachother they use titles like Mrs, Mr, Doctor, Profesor etc. In Sweden when people talk to eachother, strangers or not they say YOU to eachother...
