In the consideration of setting up a new business with my friend, I looked around at three types of scanners, the Cano-scan-lide 20, the Hewlett-Packard scan jet 5400c and the Acer Scan 320U Flatbed Scanner.
The Cano-scan-lide 20 was a very attractive scanner. It was a slim flat top packed with features. Some of the features it includes are:
 600 x 1200 dpi optical resolution and 48-bit colour
 An advanced z-lid, which accommodates the scanning of bulkier, items such as, books etc.
 One touch buttons automatically create images, colour copies and emails.
 Toolbox offers a range of software applications.
 Up to 10 photos can be scanned at once using the multi scan feature
 Easy connection between the scanner and canon printers.
Also the cost is not too high, the price range is set at around $149.00.
