1. Drug- A substance used in the diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of a disease or as a component of a medication.
Medicine- The science of diagnosing, treating, or preventing disease and other damage to the body or mind.
Drug Misuse- Using a substance or over the counter medicine more than needed
Drug abuse- excessive use of drugs
Psychoactive Drug- a drug that can produce mood changes and distorted perceptions
Depressant- An agent, especially a drug, that decreases the rate of vital physiological activities.
Stimulant- An agent, especially a chemical agent such as caffeine that temporarily arouses or accelerates physiological or organic activity.
Narcotic- An addictive drug, that reduces pain, alters mood and behavior, and usually induces sleep or stupor.
Psychedelic- A drug, such as LSD or mescaline that produces such effects.
2. Narcotics=Cocaine, heroin, crack. Depressants=no dose, alcohol, tobacco
Depressants= heroin, smack cannabis Stimulants= caffeine, tea, coffee
Hallucinogens= LSD, magic mushrooms, mescaline...
