On behalf of the Rehabilitation Department< I would like to congratulate today's graduates of Park School. We are here today to recognize you for that accomplishment. I believe that each of you has risen to successfully meet the challanges of academic achievement. And as you continue through your lives, you will face many more challenges. But the greatest challenge of all will be to assume responsibility for taking charge of your own destiny, your own outcomes, the challenge to appreciate the wisdom of Emile Zola who writes, "I am here to live out loud." During the years I have worked at this school, I have watched many of you "live out loud." In a very real sense you have been teachers to many of us, confirming the words of a famous poet, "Oftentimes, the child is father to the man".
