In the book, The perks of being a wallflower. It talks about a 15 year old boy called (Charlie) that is experiencing the coming of age. He uses letters to write to a person that he calls friend but Charlie doesnt know who he is. Charlie writes in the letter about his day-to-day experience of life in high school. Some issues that Charlie has to deal with are crush on a girl, family tensions, a first relationship, sexuality, drugs and death of a family member, friendship, and suicide.
