Leadership Visionary Style

What is leadership? Leadership can be determined as being formal and informal- formal leadership can be described as an appointed or designated person and/ or persons who has been given the task of supervising a group of people. On the other hand, an informal leader can be a subordinate who tends to follow. Having said this, Goleman, author of Primal Leadership presents several arguments of many different leadership styles. However, I will briefly discuss six different styles of leadership, and I will give an example to support my conclusion.
Visionary leadership was the first of the six leadership styles that Goleman mentions in his argument. Generally this style follows a certain aspect or thought that tends to lead people to shared dreams. Also, this leadership style offers a highly positive return because since change is inevitable a new vision will encourage people to follow the new vision.
