Personal Development and Physical Education
Establishing good health practice's, is essential to maintain and live a healthy lifestyle. The type of food and amount you eat, the type of exercise and physical activity you participate in, extent of the use of drugs people my take, and the success of their relationships, both with loved ones and friends are all impacted by a number of factors, which include; 1) Nutrition 2) Physical Activity 3) Drug Use 4) Relationships.
1) Nutrition-
Using the interview as a basis of my report, I can conclude that Matt chooses wisely with his nutrition, and knows what his body needs and wants. He has a balanced diet of Protein, Carbohydrates, Fats, Minerals and Vitamins. Matt eats a wide variety of different foods which provide him with the adequate nutrients and energy for him to participate in everyday activities. His diet is of high protein, medium carbohydrates and low fat, this provides his muscle with the nutrients (amino acids) to build and repair damaged muscle tissue from the weights training. The moderate carbohydrates enables him to have the energy for everyday activity, and his training, without putting on the extra calories from excess carbohydrates. A low fat diet is a good one, and provides him with the essential fats, for healthy functioning, and the fat he consumes is a good source fat, with olive oil, nuts, and fish (Omega 3).
A diet such as one Matt follows is healthy and there are many benefits that he gains from his healthy eating. There are Social benefits, emotional benefits, and physical benefits...
