Why Drug and alcohol abuse is a serious problem for young people
As a child matures into a young adult they encounter some of life’s many problems. This can eventually lead to other problems such as depression which could result in an individual being introduced into alcohol and dugs. Abusing these substances presents serious problem for a vast majority of adolescents; however, life in most abusive problems alcohol and drug over use is avoidable. Substance abuse often presents many other problems such as difficulties in social life, school troubles or lack of attendance, family issues, and dependency on others to supports them which could possible lead to stealing.

Another problem that more often than not occurs when a juvenile initiates the use of alcohol and drugs is their grades begin plummeting and if they continue using for a long enough period of time they will eventually drop out of school. ...
