Immigration is one of the largest problems the United States is facing today. America has enough problems of its own than to try and fix the world's problems also. Immigration should be stopped in the United States because of the damage it has made to the welfare system, the economy, and our national security.
America's welfare system is doomed to collapse. The immigrants who come legally sometimes can't speak any English or have any skills to do a job. Therefore, they are given welfare while an American family whose father may have served his country can't get a decent meal. Would you help a stranger before you helped your family? If immigration was stopped we could fix the problems of malnutrition of our children, homelessness, and possibly some diseases because we could concentrate on our problems instead of patching up theirs.
Along with the welfare system being in shambles, we are also currently in a depression in this country. Our jobs are leaving and it seems that politicians enjoy it...
