Money overpowers people. Many people believe that money can buy them happiness. There is an endless pursuit to fill our lives with "stuff," from owning a Mercedes, a 60-inch plasma TV with remote controls or a designer Gucci purse we can't afford. How many times have you heard, if I could only win the lottery, I won't have to worry anymore? Although we need money to buy the essentials for living, how much is enough? People see money as an answer for many of their problems. Does being wealthy assure happiness? Can money buy self-respect, health, joy, love, or relationships? Can money buy an extra day of living? Through many different genres we will see that money doesn't buy happiness or solve problems, more often it creates them...
