The two stories that I decided to compare are An Upheaval and Reunion. I choose Reunion because it kind of reminded me of the first time I meet my father for the first time and went out to eat with him. The authors of the stories describes the reaction of the charters when but into certain situations. In this essay I give details in which the authors describe each character. I will also differentiate their uses of language that both of the authors relays.
In the story Reunion takes place at the Grand Central Station in New York and four restaurants. The story is told by Charlie the one of the characters who plays a small yet part in the story. The boy tell us in detail where he is coming from and his destination to relay hoe far he has come and how much father he will have to go. He says that he's coming from Adirondacks, he's stopping in New York in between trains and he's going to Cape. He tells us that he wrote to his father and asked if he could meet him there in between arrival and departure of his train, for he has not seen his father in three years since his parent's divorce...
