Nature of Logic and Perception Paper
Acquiring knowledge in our daily lives develops into logic to critical thinking. ...
Perception is the way we view things. Perception can take place at first sight even before we investigating any further. ... By analyzing what we want to accomplish we must first have a perception and consider what actions need to be taken. Everyday life, perception takes place, for example, I may think a coworker is having a bad day, but when investigating further, I realize that other obstacles are influencing his attitude. ... We must first have a perception and build clarity from there. Miller and Conelly (1996) state that fundamentally, Critical Thinking or Informal Logic deals with the use of reason in the pursuit of truth. While there is serious doubt about the power of reason to discover any "new" truth, the "rules" of logic concern the ways truth can be preserved as we make inferences -- one or more statements to support or justify another statement.
