Sophocles, in his play Oedipus Rex, defines that no one can outrun their own fate and everything we do is all linked together to perform a purpose. His view, very similar compare to mine, believes that the griefs we suffer are “caused by ourselves”. Everything that has a reason must have a consequence. Sophocles’ idea applies to almost anything. On a recent visit to LA, I noticed that their own problems are really caused by themselves. For example, the traffic in LA is just too much to handle. They believe that the way to solve the traffic problems is to add more overpass. If you get to a certain point in LA, you’ll see overpass on top of overpass everywhere; that, of course, would lead more and more traffic problems.
