1) Explain what Christians believe about (i) the death of Jesus; (ii) life after death.
(i) I believe as a Christian, that the death of Jesus was a wonderful thing. Jesus went through suffering and pain then he eventually died on the cross. That obviously isn't wonderful, but what is wonderful is why he did it. He did it for us so that all our future sins could be forgiven. Jesus didn't have to let him self go through what he went through, he knew previously what was going to happen to him but he didn't run away. This caused him to go through tremendous pain which was inflicted by the Roman soldiers and also the pain when he had to carry the large cross up a hill, to his soon to be death place. But the reason he let himself go through this suffering was for us. If he hadn't died on the cross now our sins couldn't be forgiven. But as he did we all have a chance to be forgiven and now we can all spend eternity with God and Jesus in Heaven...
