19th Century Novel- Jane Eyre
In the book of Jane Eyre, there are four main characters; Jane Eyre, Mrs Reed, Mr Rochester and St John Rivers. The book is told about Jane Eyre showing her uneasy childhood to her life as a young woman. Mrs Reed is her aunt who neglected orphaned Jane because she hated her. Later on in the book heroic Mr Rochester is introduced and is the first to offer Jane love and passion. Rivers then appears taking Jane into his home. He offers her freedom and asks her to sacrifice passion; something Jane is keen on finding.
In my opinion, I think Jane Eyre was the most interesting in the novel. From being shy and having a difficult childhood, Jane grew up to be confident and more courageous. At the beginning of the novel the orphan Jane felt exiled from the poor treatment she received from her aunt-in-law, Mrs Reed and her cousins. She felt as though she didn't belong with this family and that she was fighting for freedom...
