A peaceful blue sky creates a wonderful background for a painting by Norman Rockwell. Outward-bound takes place in Maine on a chilly spring morning. Huge white clouds as large as counties fill the sky. Three seagulls circle the sky with wings spread far apart gliding effortlessly through the air. As if the wind is blowing in circles easing their flight. In the distance a large fishing boat with huge sails sets out to sea. The sea looks to be green and blue textured for a calming effect. Two other great masts rise above the land. One is yellow and twice as tall as a one and half story house. The other is red and taller than a large church. Houses and boats line the shore.
