Teaching students who have disabilities such as visual impairments is no easy task. After researching these two areas I found that there are many interesting things that can be done to have students with these disabilities reach their greatest achievements.
Students with visual impairments is defined in a number of different forms. ... Legal blindness is visual acuity of 20/200 or less in the better eye even with correction, or a field of vision so narrowed that the widest diameter of the visual field subtends an angular distance no greater than 20 degrees. ... Some strong teaching strategies to use when teaching a visually impaired student would be to use games for social development, use equipment that contains a constant sound source.
