During the first part of the twentieth century, most Americans paid for health care with their own money. An insurance program called the "F.F.S."; (fee-for-services) is currently used by hospitals and physicians to set fees for the services provided to patients. This program is rapidly declining. Therefore, few people can be treated for their illnesses or sicknesses because they do not have health insurance. This decline will limit the health care services that are provided to everyone who required assistance. In addition, it will create population or social problems in the near future.
