Science Investigation
Aim: My aim is to find out how light intensity affects the rate of photosynthesis.
Plan: I am going to find out how the light intensity affects the rate of photosynthesis, I will do this by shining some light on some pondweed and seeing how much gas has been produced using a gas syringe. I will adjust the light intensity by changing the distance from the lamp to the pond weed.
Controlled factors: My controlled factors are the things that I'm going to keep the same. I will use the same amount of pond weed each time. I will keep the temperature of the water the same throughout. I will use the exact same equipment every time.
Variable: The variable is the thing that I will be changing in order to get my results. My variable will be the light intensity; I will change the light intensity by moving the lamp further/closer to the pond weed. I will change the distance according to the light intensity...
