The film 'Breaker Morant' uses some very good techniques to try to show different angles of what is happening. Some of the aspects I will be covering will be camera angles, framing, lighting, hair an make-up and sound, which all can have an impact on the viewer.
An average movie with the right techniques added to it can make it a great movie. This is shown in 'Breaker Morant' as they have emphasised on costumes back from that decade. This makes the viewer realize that it is an older movie. Costumes, make-up and hairstyles are some descriptive aspects on characters and change the way we see them. The use of uniforms in the film is important. We see the British soldiers wearing a very tidy and smart uniform, wearing it to the best of their ability and are proud of doing so. The Australians also have a uniform, very similar to the British but the Australians are a lot more laid back and not as formal as the British. The use of moustaches in the film is fairly obvious; most of the British men have them and are fairly long and pointy at the ends...
