  Logic and Perception
  There are those who believe that logic and perception are one in the same. The idea that they are seems ludicrous to others. I think that the majority of people feel they are the same. These people, when in positions of authority, can be the cause of significant heartache. One must understand the differences, and how to apply them, in order to arrive at the heart of an issue. Like most people I grew up relying on perception to gain knowledge. My perceptions of the world were the basis of building my life's experience base. As I grew older I realized that perception is not always reality. In order to distinguish between what I believed to be true, and what was true, I had to learn to apply logic.
