The secret to a good marriage is understanding that marriage must
be total, permanent and equal. However, if you treat the wrong person like the right
person, you could end up marrying the right person after all. On the other hand, if you
marry the right person, and treat that person wrong, you certainly will have ended up
marrying the wrong person. I also know that it is far more important to be the right kind
of person who possess certain values and demonstrate certain morals than it is to marry
the right person. In short, whether you married the right or wrong person is primarily up
to you. Marriage is the foundation of the family and the family is the foundation of
society, if we strengthen marriage, we strengthen the family, we strengthen the children
and we strengthen the community. I learned that within the two stories "A Sorrowful
Woman" and "The hand " they show how a marriage does not always lead to a perfect
life. It appeared both wives was so submerged in their own sadness and grief. They find
safety in allowing the male to dominate the relationship. I seem to also understand that
the male is leading in all respects of the relationship...
