Three Types of Unethical Behavior That Would Be Likely to Occur
At A Car Dealership
One type of unethical behavior is hiring personnel for a particular position and discriminating because of age or lack of a college degree. A person's age or lack of having a college degree does not quality or disqualify a person in actually working and caring out the expected role of the job. Job requirements should be written out but expanded on by exceptions. The age of a person and years of experience adds extended qualities for the business. Even though an educational degree is of importance, there is a lot to be said for the older and more experienced employee. A way of not discriminating a potential employee is by writing a more detailed job description. For example, requirements could require a college degree or four years experience in selling. A person right out of college without previous selling experience could not have the same qualifications as an older adult with years of selling experience. However, different ages and experience make up for a good marketing mix. An internal check of the applicant's qualifications and another interview by someone other than the personnel officer would be a way of checking against discrimination...
