Eating is like “second nature” to people. You get a rumble in your stomach, which in turn sends a signal to your brain, telling you to eat. So you go and prepare yourself a delicious meal. Not even 24 hours later, you find yourself hovered over the bathroom toilet not feeling so well. It’s an all to common occurrence that happens to many people around the world. Depending on the particular symptoms one has they can be suffering from a peptic ulcer, gastroenteritis, food poisoning or another type of baterial infection. In some patients gnawing or burning in the upper abdominal region can be symptoms of a peptic ulcer. Others don’t have pain at all; they have hunger urge or bloating. A doctor knows that the ulcer is bleeding if black fesses are dispelled. All these symptoms will occur when the lining of your stomach has an open sore. The open sore exposed to the acid or pepsin in you stomach, it will form an ulcer. Peptic ulcers can also be formed by excessive use of aspirin and some arthritis medications. The are two types of peptic ulcer. The gastric ulcer is an ulcer that happens in your stomach and duodenal ulcer happens in your intestines. A gastric ulcer is harder to detect because it has common symptoms as anemia (iron deficiency), nausea, or even a life threatening hemorrhage. It is also 70% of all ulcer. What this all comes down to is stomach infection caused by the bacteria in foods, aspirin, and some arthritis medications.
