Advantages and disadvantages of DRW

What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of SRW vs. DRW? The only things I can come up with is that the DRW TV will allow you to tow a trailer with triple axles for an advantage and the DRW will decrease the weight you can haul by 100 lbs for a disadvantage. Please correct me if I am wrong. I am still researching which type of vehicle I should get. Please see Choosing the right tow vehicle post on forum for more info. I am wondering if I would be better off buying a DRW TV or a SRW TV 1 ton truck.
In 35 series trucks, the DW truck will carry more payload than a SW truck. So you have the ability to tow more trailer because of the higher hitch wt availible to you.
On the other hand, if you took a SW and DW truck with equal GRAWR's, then the SW truck would have a bigger payload, because you do not have the two extra tires at 125-150 lbs ea to carry persay, not do you have to use up power to move the extra 200-250 lbs of tires, for less drivetrain loss...
