Of these various posits and philosophies, three theories of the state rose to prominence: Liberalism, Marxism, and Realism. ... Furthermore, while the history of state-building and politics has included all three in relatively pure form, I believe that in the future, the survival of any will be based on constant revision, and that the survival of Marxism as anything more than a classical theory found in textbooks, is grim indeed. ... I will argue that while none of these classical theories is perfect, the faults of Marxism particularly make it an unworkable basis for future politicos and goverments, and that it’s demise in the coming years is certain.
