Imagine being labeled as a hacker. How about a thief, a criminal, a cheat? We all probably can be called that, just because of that one click of the mouse. To companies like Interscope Records, Sony, and even Blockbuster, teens are all of the above, just from two words: file-sharing. Programs like Kazaa, iMesh, and E-Donkey, all successors to the infamous Napster, allow people to share files, from music to software to even full-length movies, all for free. So, what’s the point of the old-fashioned CD or a video store, its expensive, and too much trouble to go to buy it, when you have a nice computer sitting in your bedroom.
