Are “raves” supposed to be a place for enjoyment or violence and drugs? The very first intention of organizing these “rave parties” was for enjoyment, but now it has become a brewing place for social disturbance. What are the negative impact of such destructive behavior have on the young party goers? The long term effect has yet to reveal itself but the immediate problem is apparent: an immature mind exposed to a cocktail of violence, drugs and alcohol, and bad influence. Drugs and alcohol are one of the most dangerous temptations to a teenager who has limited self- control and poor judgement ability. A popular drug distributed at raves is ecstasy, which is also known as “E.” “E” gives the person a sudden feel of high, which could last up to five hours. Taking these party drugs causes great damage to the body, especially for those who take more than one pill per night.
