Then one day Marisa and Shmuel ventured out and reach the house of an SS, she faints and in her sleep Shmuel explains that they are Polish and were kicked out of their homes. ... They ate and slept but when they woke up Yehuda and Fanny left to join the partisans and decide that she would take the job as the Polish girl, and how Shmuel would go to his cousins house and stay there. ... She sends a letter about Herr Kreusz and luckily is transferred to Herr Reymanns house, a Nazi. ... She helps around the house, watches the games of the children, yet feels like she NEEDS to kill herself because no one knows she’s a Jew.
