When talking about the modern game of basketball, we usually hear about the same people. The people we hear about the most are Michael Jordan, and Kobe Bryant. While Michael Jordan is considered the best by many, Kobe Bryant is too. Who do you think is better? Michael Jordan a Brooklyn native attended Wilmington, North Carolina. He spent three years at University of North Carolina (UNC), playing for an NCAA championship team. As a freshman Jordan hit the game winning shot in the NCAA championship game. Following the game Jordan College Player of the Year by The Sporting News in 1983 and 1984, and he was named the Naismith Player of the Year. After his junior year he went into the draft, and he was chosen third overall in 1984 By the Chicago Bulls. Meanwhile, Kobe Bryant was the all-time leading scorer in Southeastern Pennsylvania schoolboy history with 2,883 point. Bryant led his high school team to a 77-13 record in his last three seasons and he was a four-year starter.
