The attitudes that I had when I were in high school compared to Alicea’s is very similar to me,. I can envision it like it was yesterdays news. At that age it’s a tough period for kids to go through and I certainly agree with her about explaining to kids what is the purpose for them when learning a different subject. High school is an ever-changing process. As I think back to my High School things like clothes, language, and even hairstyles have transformed. If those things were popular back then, I can imagine, how much things have changed since our parents were in school. If these things are so different, I wonder how much other things have changed? the attitude I had back in high school seems like yesterday to me, now that I am in college, I have flashbacks sitting in that classroom again. The things that Alicea mentions in her essay, I can relate to.
