Western civilization has been influenced by many ancient civilizations. Of these ancient people the ability to influence the culture of western society has been directly related to the ability of these ancient civilizations to leave a recorded history of some sort. There have been many literary works passed down from different peoples from many places however there has been none as influential as The Torah which is a religious historical text passed down from ancient Hebrew civilization. ... The Hebrew’s goes through a series of changes which eventually lead them to being slaves in Egypt. ... The Hebrew’s go through a series of trials wandering in the wilderness for 40 years. The Hebrew’s are separated into 12 tribes by families who are lead by Moses and later Joshua. ...
