Summary: The succinct analysis of an individual's existential condition, the assessment of his strengths and weaknesses on which to base a course of action, and the mobilisation of his motivation and potential to travel on a path of change and accomplishment which he would not have attempted predevelopment. Demand objective and development strategy: He wished to 'get out' of a life situation which appeared a 'dead end.' My objective was to assess his functional capability to predict his actual and potential performance levels, and gain insight on the resilience of his psychological economy. I wished to be able to estimate the probability of him remaining intact and effective in an array of options. My purpose was to develop him to achieve his chosen option which also would have to be the best?advised option. During our preliminary meeting I shared with him my understanding of the assessment/development demand, objective and strategy and obtained his agreement. History: This is the CEO of a Swiss family firm who has been in the job for nearly 10 years.
