Battles

Battles Although there are different plots and story lines, the dominant share several similarities, but also have marked differences that distinguish them from others. The major characters include Eliezer from Night, Tom from Tom Sawyer, and Helen from The Miracle Worker. All three characters went through battles, which helped themselves and others become improved people. Eliezer is the character whose battle was the biggest one to face. His battle of surviving helped him and others mature. It helped himself by building his character throughout the book, and going from a juvenile, selfish child in the beginning to a mature, thoughtful young man in the end. Elizer's "push" for survival made the story plot move on quickly. That is why the book is never boring because he is struggling to survive constantly. He keeps in his mind that he does not want to be like the thousands of others who just gave up hope.
