Urban Fabric

This phenomenon was cause by the seeming of dense urbanization and the desire of breaking up the spaces within the city to make room for an open environment like. My initial interest for this was the lack of relations between the spaces. Especially where the highway crosses the lack of relationships breaks the continuity of the urban fabric. Not only that but there are also series areas are being destroy by the vacant store and parking spaces, the street has no active and interesting front to link the spaces together. The street and highway system ˇ§the downtown connectorˇ¨ sets a physical barrier through out the city.
