The hypothesises that I am trying to answer are: 1. Land use changes as distance increases from the Bull Ring. 2. The number of people decreases with distance from the Bull Ring. 3. The environmental quality decreases with distance from the Bull Ring. To answer these three questions I have used three types of data collection. They are, a land use survey map, a pedestrian count and an environmental survey. Land use map I used a land use survey to determine what types of shops are situated within Northwich. Prior to my visit into Northwich I had to design a colour coded key to agree on what types of shops fitted into certain categories.
