If you take a look People are often so involved in trying to get exactly what they wanted, they never take a step back to see if that is what they truly want in the first place. This paper is divided into two parts which will discuss "Love Potion" by Strasser, and "The Fairy Tale" by Forshay--Lunsford. The characters in these stories are praying and wishing for something that they realize they do not even want. "Fairy Tale" generalized sometimes things are not always what they seem. Even if you are dead sure you want one thing, you often want the other. In the fairy tale, Cynthia is living with her stepmother Ruth and stepsister Sheri. Cynthia is made to do all the housework while Sheri does nothing.
