A Lucky Accident My friend was riding his motorcycle across the street that bisects a local canyon when he was hit by a drunk driver. It was a hot summer・s day and we were riding down Santiago Canyon going at an average of 120mph knee dragging when a drunk driver plowed through my friend giving me just enough time to swerve out of the way and stop 40 feet from the incident. I ran to my friend, took off his helmet and tried talking to him. All he said was :I・m ok, I・m ok; he wanted to check the damages of his bike but I kept him from moving.
