Describe out it is clear that H.G.Wells wrote the Time Machine in the late 19th century. ...
The time machine is a science fiction novel based on a time machine which is able to transport a living person in to the past or the future. ... Many of the men at that time criticised many things and they all seemed to have differing views to others which brought lots together regularly to talk about matters and very often drink. ... The views of 19th century science plays a major part in H.G.Wells writing. During the book he writes about 4 dimensions, which is a straight line then a flat shape then a 3 dimensional shape and the fourth dimension is time. “Can a cube that that does not last for any time at all have a real existence”? H.G.Wells puts the point that you can see the first three so why should you not be able to se the third and manipulate it. The machine itself does not move it stays in one place all the time but moves through the ages but still in the same spot. When the time traveller goes into the future this lets wells bring in opinions of his own and uses Darwin’s evolution theory. He uses it when it talks about how the Eloi and the Moorlocks have being changed has time has gone on and that they have adapted to there surroundings.
