Camera and Editing - The Matrix
I have taken a 4 minute clip from The Matrix. ... Agent Smith fight scene, because the camera angles and editing weren’t interesting enough.
The reason I chose this scene was because the director has used editing and especially camera in clever ways to make the scene frantic, desperate and tense and Neo attempts to reach the phone before the Sentinels break into the ship. ... Then the director uses a “shaky cam”, showing Neo from just in-front of him, with the camera bobbing about and moving side to side as if someone’s running in-front of him. ... The camera then switches to Neo’s point of view, following his eyes as they dart around the screen desperately.
